VKF is acting as
a Technical Support Agency (TSA) for KSRLPS
/ NRLM, having vast experience in
promoting producer enterprises in select rural commodity value chains in
non-farm sectors at the National Level along with having the expertise in
identification of opportunities for value chain development in farm and non-farm
sector, taking up value chain scoping studies, detailed diagnostics studies,
identification of business model, preparation of the business plan, project
planning, project report preparation, and project implementation for
incorporation & operationalization of Producer enterprises.
VKF is assisting KSRLPS / NRLM in the
preparation of DSR, detailing the economic viability of the intervention and
implementation of the value chain intervention plans through the promotion of
Producer Enterprises in the identified non-farm cluster in the state of
Karnataka, adhering to the ‘Guidelines for Promoting Artisan Cluster’ under
NRETP issued by MoRD.
The VKF is providing support to KSRLPS for
promotion of Producer Enterprise (PE) in the clusters and undertaken the
implementation of interventions as per EC-approved CDSR including
institutionalizing artisans/producers into PE, operationalizing business &
production processes of PE, skill upgradation & capacity building of
producers, product design, development, product development & design
innovation, developing marketing linkages including e-marketing and e-portal
for the PE, and provide need-based advisory support to the PE in order to map
all the business processes meeting up all the norms & standard for
procuring Trade License and Export License of the cluster units viz. manufacturing
processes, technology, marketing quality control, Forward and Back ward
Linkage, including packaging of the products testing, purchase, outsourcing,
etc to find out its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT),
problems and impediments, and accordingly prepare a well-drawn action plan for
enhancing competitiveness of the units of the cluster and to cause brand
position up of the cluster leading to a self-sustaining trajectory of growth.
